and then one day i’m sitting at my kitchen table having coffee and my phone lights up. it was HIM. after 4 months of total silence. like not even a seen. nothing.
we talked for 3 hours that night.
i’m not gonna say everything is perfect because it’s not. but the wall that was there is GONE. and i know it’s gone because of what elie did. i could feel something shift even before he texted me, like a few days before, there was this weird calm that came over me that i can’t explain.
